The Backrooms: Survival

The Backrooms: Survival is the long-awaited roguelike from The Backrooms universe, which is quite unlike anything fans of this franchise have seen before. 

Overview

The events unfold in the same universe - in parallel dimensions that are extremely unfriendly to humans. Unlike previous video games in the franchise, absolutely everything here is procedurally generated, including the quests that must be completed in order to complete a session. 

The main objective is to complete the main quest, which will never be repeated. Really will have to go it alone, however, you can always meet secondary characters who can help in some situations. 

Gameplay

Among the main features of the gameplay of The Backrooms: Survival is to be noted:

1. The visuals are deliberately styled as retro action movies of the 1990s - this is done to honour the classic hits of the genre, from which everything started.
2. The hero is not unarmed - he is quite capable of facing off against numerous monsters, but it's far from easy.
3. The difficulty level is extremely high - this is a full-fledged roguelike, in which you will have to die often. 
4. There is a rating system that records absolutely all results in each unique session.
5. In addition to quests, locations, enemies, weapons, traps, and secondary NPCs are randomly generated. 
6. Each death is a final defeat, after which you need to start the passage from the beginning.
