Styx: Shards of Darkness is the second game in the Styx series, which tells about the adventures of a goblin named Styx. The same well-known Cyanide Studio team worked on the development.

Plot

The events unfold immediately after the completion of the story shown in the first part. The main character remains the same, but now he will not just solve the mystery of his origin, but find out about the plans of the dark elves and dwarves. They organized a large congress of diplomats in the impregnable city of Karngar. It's impossible to get into this elf city just like that, but Styx's stealth skills allowed him to bypass the guards.

The main character knows that elves and dwarves are united by only one thing – it is mutual hatred for the entire goblin race. Styx must find out what the representatives of two hostile races are up to in order to save his own.

Gameplay

The genre of the game has not changed – we still have a well-thought-out hidden passage mechanics. However, compared to the previous part , several innovations have appeared:

• there are fundamentally new enemies that behave differently than the opponents in the first part, and therefore the player must reconsider his tactics.;
• the game world has become completely open, which has given new opportunities for passing;
• freedom of movement has become unprecedented;
• The mechanics of stealth movement and killing have been supplemented with new techniques and abilities.

Styx, as before, will receive experience points for sneaking through and killing enemies, which can be spent on pumping his abilities.  

Graphics

From the visual side, the developers have made a big step. Instead of the corridor locations of the tower, they created a large and open game world with a detailed drawing of each object, but the key attent
