How many horror movies have been made in the world? It must be assumed that their total number defies any definition. It is quite difficult to stand out among such a variety of horrors, but the UndeadScout project managed to do it for sure. A good or bad impression is up to each gamer to decide individually.

The plot is based on the fact that all the inhabitants mysteriously disappeared from the town of Shivercliffe. What happened? Is this some kind of epidemic or have the forces of evil awakened? The main character named Matthew Palmer (curtsey in the direction of "Twin Peaks") traveled by train with his wife and daughter until he lost consciousness near the town of Shivercliffe. When he wakes up, he finds himself completely alone, and his quest begins at the inscription welcoming those entering the city.

Graphics and gameplay features

The game has a dark, suggestive atmosphere. Passing it is not an occupation for the faint of heart. Fear is pumped up like steam under a closed lid, and you are waiting for an unexpected denouement, as if getting rid of this sticky, oppressive state. This is the main feature of Husk, its signature feature. Other interesting differences between the game and similar projects include:

1. Recreated in detail the atmosphere of the mid-90s.
2. An interesting story involving serious philosophical problems.
3. Battles with various monsters and intermediate bosses.
4. The right soundtrack helps to create a gloomy mood. The composer is Arkadyush Rejkovsky.
5. Lots of interesting locations. Hospitals, police station, streets.
6. There is not enough inventory, only a revolver is present from the weapon. There are no first aid kits. Yes, yes, it will not be so easy to survive.

Reviews in the gaming press

Husk has mixed reviews both in the gaming press and among the community of ordinary gamers. In many ways, the not too high rating of the game was influenced by the fact that it was released simultaneously with Resident Evil 7.
