Blur is a racing computer video game created by a small British studio Bizarre Creations. It is characterized by a high level of arcade and the presence of special energy bonuses, such as "Turbo acceleration", which radically affect the gameplay.

Plot

Like all racing games, Blur does not have a clearly structured storyline. The player acts as an unnamed racer who must prove that he is the best in the big championship. On his way, he will meet nine professionals who need to be defeated in a not the most honest race.

Gameplay

As already mentioned, the main difference of this game is the presence of several types of energy bonuses:

1. Lightning - releases an electric pulse around the car, which is able to stop the nearest enemy or destroy a flying missile.
2. Acceleration - seriously increases the speed of your car for a few seconds.
3. Rocket - releases a charge that flies behind the nearest enemy ahead of your transport. It also has thermal guidance, and therefore it is extremely difficult to dodge it.
4. Shield - allows you to withstand the impact of a Rocket or Lightning.

Players can play both a single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode that supports up to twenty players. Otherwise, Blur is no different from racing arcade games.

From two to twenty players can participate in one race. It is possible to play with friends on the same computer – in this case, the screen is simply divided into two or four parts.

Graphics
