Gameplay

Blur is more of a tactical race than a race for speed or survival. In fact, all cars in the game are licensed and have scales of protection and destructibility, which is reflected in the appearance of the car. The gamer has to participate in races, receiving invitations and calls through messengers and various social networks.

The highlight of the race is that the gameplay is tied to weapons and means of protection. In each race, you can take up to three types of guns to destroy the enemy and protect your own position. These include not only rocket launchers, mines and machine guns, but also accelerators, power shields. The danger sensor will warn you when to perform maneuvers to evade a catching missile, and through the rear view window you can watch what is happening behind. If someone tries to clear a path for himself, he can be punished with a mine, activate a power shield in order to prevent the enemy from changing positions or shooting down a rocket with fire back. If there is a springboard and a cold-blooded calculation, you can jump over the rocket.

Tasks

You can't just ride, shoot, defend and come to the finish line one of the first in Blur. There are additional tasks in each race here. In one race, you will have to push your opponent into the water, perform a long skid and fly so many meters in the air, and in the second - smash three cars by ramming them through the use of acceleration. In fact, in all races it is necessary to fill the specified number of fragments, which is not always possible to do the first time, and the stages have to be repeated, which is not very pleasing.

Game Modes

The developers did not try to diversify the gameplay. There are only two modes in the game:

• survival;
• control points.

The first involves stuffing frags and scoring points by destroying opponents and performing tricks, and in the second you need to have time to get to the checkpoint, which will add another couple of tens of seconds to the remaining time to overcome the next section of the track.
