Castlevania Chronicles 2 Simon's Quest

Castlevania Chronicles 2 Simon's Quest is a re-release of the legendary old-school two-dimensional action game that once laid the foundations for the now popular metroidvania genre.

Review

The developers did not change either the gameplay or the storyline. The project has not changed, except that now it is available on personal computers, which has never been in any of the games of the line.

As before, the storyline is about the confrontation between Simon Belmont and Dracula. After the protagonist defeated the evil vampire, he was cursed and now he is going to die.

To prevent his death, the protagonist must once again resurrect the antagonist and kill him once and for all without letting him take advantage of the curse this time. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of Castlevania Chronicles 2 Simon's Quest adventurous game should be noted:

1. Minimalistic pixelated graphics - perfect for weak computers.
2. There is a system of changing cycles of day and night - in the dark time zombies appear on the streets, all the stores and churches are closed.
3. You can replenish your health only in church.
4. Need to collect hearts, which are needed to acquire weapons and other items.
5. There is a system of pumping the character, which allows you to pump his characteristics.
6. At the end of each level the user faces a tough encounter with the boss. 
7. Depends on the length of the passage depends on the final story.
