Gerda: A Flame in Winter is an atmospheric action game set in a small village in Denmark occupied during World War II.

Review

The protagonist of this dramatic story is a young girl named Gerda, who even before the war worked as a nurse and swore to save the wounded and sick. At the very beginning of World War II, her village was occupied by Third Reich troops, and the protagonist immediately joined the resistance forces.

It is now 1945. Around winter, but there is no festive atmosphere, because the German troops are in no hurry to leave the occupied territory. The heroine is required to act in such a way as to help the local residents, not to arouse suspicion of the Germans, and therefore often have to save their soldiers, but this in turn may further lead to the death of an ordinary civilian. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the addventure Gerda: A Flame in Winter should be noted:

1. Every action and decision in the dialogues has its consequences - sometimes they will be not only unexpected, but also very sad.
2. The excellent winter atmosphere of a Danish village.
3. Lack of opportunity to engage in combat.
