Hellpoint

Hellpoint - a unique in its kind role-playing action game with a sci-fi setting, which in terms of gameplay complexity is very similar to the famous Dark Souls series.

Review

The protagonist is a creature called the Offspring. It's artificial humanoid creature, that was created by some mysterious force, that calls itself the Author. The purpose of the Offspring is to carry out all orders and serve his master. 

The protagonist is assigned a task - to go to the high-tech space station Irid Novo, which is located near a huge black hole. When communication with the base is lost, Protagosk was sent to find out the reason. Upon arrival, he discovers that the station is now teeming with aggressive monsters and aliens. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the action RPG Hellpoint requires noting:

1. Dangerous enemies - even ordinary mobs can kill the protagonist with just one hit.
2. There is an impressive variety of cold and firearms and a unique animation is created for each of them.
3. The base rotates around the black hole in several cycles of influence and when it reaches its peak (twice a day) monsters become many times stronger, but the player opens up previously closed locations.
4. Sophisticated combat mechanics that forces the gamer to react to attacks in time, control stamina levels, and intelligently use first-aid kits to restore health.
5. Superbly written sci-fi setting.
6. The player is not given tasks directly and is not written down every event that happened - the essence of the story will have to figure it out on their own.
