Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is a sequel to the eponymous shooter series, which returns to its roots and again tells the story of World War II, but now through the technology of virtual reality, which opens up new possibilities.

Review

Events unfold on the territory of France, which at the very beginning of the Second World War fell under almost total occupation by Nazi Germany. Soon the remnants of the army created the Resistance, in the ranks of which will consist of the protagonist of the story.

The action unfolds over several years and depicts the events, when the Resistance fighters acted underground and then, during the opening of the Second Front, became the regular army again and took part in the key battles on the Western Front. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the military shooter Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond should be noted:

1. Excellent modern graphics that look even cooler with the use of virtual reality.
2. Maximum deep immersion in the atmosphere of the time thanks to VR.
3. The ability to use authentic firearms of the era, as well as grenades.
4. All manipulations with weapons, whether it's reloading a rifle or a grenade toss requires your own hand movements - no automation. 
5. In addition to the usual missions where the user acts as an infantryman, there are quests where you get a chance to control a combat aircraft and a tank.
