The storyline once again allows you to play as your favorite pups, including Skye, Chase and Marshall. They are also joined in this installment by another character named Liberty, who has practically spent her life on the streets of the metropolis. 

The story revolves around a monstrous event - the very evil Mayor Hamdinger has completely taken over the city and is now terrorizing it. The puppies will once again have to join forces to free the residents from his oppression.
