Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront is a video game in the genre of real–time strategy, the events of which are transferred to the times of World War II and allow you to take part in bloody battles on the Eastern Front.

Review

The action will take place in the period from 1941 to 1945. The war is going on between Germany and the USSR and the gamer has the opportunity to participate in the conflict on behalf of the two countries at once. Each faction has its own campaign, consisting of dozens of single-player missions.

As part of its passage, gamers will pass key battles on the Eastern Front, which radically changed the course of all hostilities in the framework of the Second World War. Thus, users will visit Stalingrad, Kiev, Kharkov, the Kursk Bulge, the occupied territory of Belarus, Poland and Germany.

Gameplay

The key gameplay features of the strategy of the Second World War Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront are:

1. The user can control several units at once, or switch to each and play with a first–person view, personally taking command of a fighter or equipment - in this case, the rest of the army is led by AI.
2. There is an impressive variety of infantry, tanks, tank destroyers and artillery.
3. All the equipment, both in appearance and technical characteristics, has been recreated with historical accuracy.
4. There is no mechanics of base construction and resource extraction – all attention is paid to combat operations.
5. As part of the mission, the gamer will not be able to hire additional troops – he will have to manage a limited number of units, and therefore it is important to act tactically competently and lose people and equipment in vain, otherwise the mission can fail.
