Anno 1701: The Sunken Dragon

Anno 1701: The Sunken Dragon is a major official addition to the popular strategy video game Anno 1701 with elements of an economic and urban planning simulator set in the 18th century.

Review

A certain queen of a powerful European state sends one of her most loyal supporters and navigators on a dangerous journey in order to find mysterious artifacts. The hero will have to follow in the footsteps of the discoverers to distant tropical islands, the way to which lies through stormy seas and oceans.

Unlike the previous parts, the events will take place in locations far away in Asia, as evidenced by the landscapes and architecture.

Gameplay

The addition brought the following innovations to the original strategic video game Anno 1701: The SunkenDragon:

1. An exciting story campaign with 11 large missions, the total duration of which is at least 30 hours.
2. Four new characters with a unique story.
3. The variety of natural disasters has expanded significantly.
4. The ability to create your own scripts and play them, as well as try out the scripts of other users.
5. Much nicer texture detailing – especially marine units.
6. Asian flavor is presented instead of European.
