Anno 1701 is a computer video game from the famous series of the same name, which combines genres such as real–time strategy, economic and urban planning simulator.

A well-known German studio called Related Designs worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

The action takes place at the very beginning of the XVIII century. The era of colonization of the lands of the New World by European states continues, and you are an integral part of this process.

The Queen of Great Britain gives you an important task – you are obliged to take control of a small colony on one of the islands and lead it to economic and political prosperity.

Gameplay

Anno 1701 preaches the classic gameplay for the series and is not too different from the previous parts of the line. Among its features , it is important to note the following:

• the possibility of building dozens of different buildings of an industrial, educational and political nature residential buildings, expensive and much more;
• the need for research – scientific discoveries that allow you to build new buildings and units;
• improving the standard of living of the colony – there are five such stages in total;
• There are five cultures, including Aztecs, pirates and Asians;
• the ability to conduct diplomatic and trade relations;
• you are capable of declaring war on other states.

It has already happened that during this period there were also pirates, and therefore you will have to periodically protect your possessions from them.

Anno 1701 was released in the not so distant 2007, and therefore even now the picture in it looks good. Now, this level of visualization does not surprise anyone, but it certainly does not frighten. In addition, this game will work perfectly on weak computers
