King's Bounty: Warrior of the North

King's Bounty: Warrior of the North is a turn–based strategy video game set in the same fantasy universe as the Legend of the Knight, only several decades have passed since then, and the main character becomes a powerful Viking leader.

Plot

The main character becomes a young and brave northerner named Olaf. After the death of his father, he becomes a leader and is forced to defend the northern lands from the invasion of demons and evil spirits. After his homeland is now safe, the protagonist decides to gather an army and go south to the kingdom of Endoria to free the country from invaders and return peace to the Teana universe.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the turn-based strategy King's Bounty: Warrior of the North, it is necessary to note:

1. In addition to the classic spells that have already been presented in previous parts, they now have rage abilities – they open only after damaging the enemy and allow you to summon magical creatures on the battlefield.
2. Now troops can also be equipped with armor and weapons, which increases their combat characteristics.
3. There are runes that give temporary reinforcements for units.
4. The protagonist's companions are five powerful valkyries, each of whom has unique abilities, thanks to which they are indispensable on the battlefield.
5. Valkyries can also be pumped, increasing their power.
