Age of Wonders 3 is a global strategy video game set in a fictional fantasy universe where there is a bloody confrontation between humans and elves.

Review

Unlike the previous installments, Age of Wonders 3 boasts a fully three-dimensional virtual world and models, which significantly increases interest in strategy. The plot tells about the confrontation of the Empire of people against a powerful alliance concluded by the forest and dark elves. A gamer within the traditions of the genre, of course, can take any side and lead it to victory.

There are 8 unique races in the game universe, including humans, Orcs, Draconians, dwarves, high elves, goblins, Frostlings and halflings. Each of them is unique in its own way and has original detachments, culture and buildings.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay chips of the Age of Wonders 3 global strategy, it is necessary to note:

1. A wide variety of unit classes, including infantryman, rifleman, militia, cavalryman, pikeman and support soldier.
2. The troops are controlled by heroes – there are 7 classes in total, where each has unique skills, strengths and weaknesses.
3. Flexible turn-based battles in which gamers can perform tactical maneuvers, such as entering from the rear or flank, and so on.
4. A large map with many regions in which a gamer can build cities and buildings in them for the development of the economy, trade, culture, science and the army.
