Galactic Civilizations 3 is a global strategy game that combines turn–based elements and real-time battles. The action takes place in an alternative world of the future – in the 23rd century.

In Galactic Civilizations 3, there is a full–fledged story campaign that revolves around the confrontation of Earthlings and aggressive alien races - the Drenjins and Yorov. They conquered almost all the free worlds and the only stronghold remained Earth. She is surrounded by a powerful energy shield, through which no enemy can break through. Humanity is assembling a huge armada to break the siege and launch a massive counteroffensive.

Gameplay

Before the start of the passage, the gamer can choose one of the unique factions, after which he is obliged to lead it to victory, which is achieved in the following ways:

1. Conquest – capture and control of key territories.
2. Research is the achievement of a significant scientific and technological process that will outweigh the development of opponents.
3. Alliance is the conclusion of close diplomatic ties and alliances that include the most powerful factions.
4. Ascension – occurs at the moment when the player gets all the crystals.

Depending on the settings, you can act within a certain number of moves, for which you need to have time to do everything you have planned, or choose a free format and enjoy the gameplay much longer
