Gates of Troy very much resembles the first parts of the Total War line – the gameplay here is almost identical, but the actions unfold in a semi-legendary period, about which there are very few real historical facts, which gave the developers the opportunity to show imagination.

As part of the single-player campaign, the gamer will have to beat the events related to the war between the Greeks and the Trojans, which ended with the fall of the latter. The user can choose any faction and lead it to victory, thereby turning the course of history.
