Rune

Rune is a video game in the genre of slasher and action with a third–person view, the actions of which unfold in fantasy worlds described in maximum detail in a series of Scandinavian myths and legends.

Plot

The main character is a famous historical character – Ragnar, who was a powerful Viking kung. He often appears in myths and challenges the gods themselves.

The plot revolves around the confrontation of Ragnar against the ancient god of cunning Loki. The hero knows that God was imprisoned in a huge underground prison in the world of Hel to prevent him from creating chaos in the human world again.

Going on a dangerous journey, the protagonist becomes a victim of betrayal and dies along with his team. However, God Odin brings the character back to life and orders him to do everything possible to stop Loki. He intends to unleash a large-scale war against humans, using a huge army of the dead Hel.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the fantasy action movie Rune, it is necessary to note:

1. The user will fight against a wide variety of opponents, including zombies, goblins, other Vikings, gods, man-eating fish, jotun giants and so on.
2. The fights are built on the mechanics of fencing, but the gamer can also throw a sword at an opponent or stick it into any surface.
3. Battles are particularly brutal, and therefore Ragnar can easily cut off his enemies' limbs.
4. At some levels, there is no need to join the battle – in certain tasks there is a function to pass covertly.
