Alan Wake 2 is a horror video game with elements of a survival simulator, which tells about the American writer Alan Wake, who faced a real evil.

Unlike the previous part, which contained action elements and allowed the gamer to engage enemies and win without any problems, Alan Wake 2 gives a more hardcore and challenging gameplay. Now the protagonist is much weaker than his opponents, has no firearms and is obliged to use cunning and stealth to avoid death.

Plot

It all started when Alan moved to the town of Bright Falls. Here he bought a beautiful house on the shore of the lake, where the writer also lived earlier, but he died together with his wife due to mysterious circumstances. Soon the danger began to threaten both the protagonist and his wife – they freed an ancient evil that lived at the bottom of the lake. Now all the nightmares come to life and gradually plunge the town into darkness.

Alan, realizing what a mistake he made, intends to join the battle with the darkness, because if it is not stopped, it will cover the entire planet and destroy humanity.

Gameplay
