The Long Dark – Episode 4

The fourth episode of the fascinating survival of The Long Dark continues the series and offers gamers to feel the icy air, snow weeds and hunger again. This time the authors decided to change the protagonist and diversify the usual passage. The game, as before, will retain the concept of a randomly generated "sandbox".

Plot

The events will take users straight to the center of Northern Canada. It was here in the first episode of the game that a man-made disaster occurred, which led to a power outage. Local residents, including Dr. Astrid and Will Mackenzie, were in terrible danger. Now they have to do a lot to survive. This time Astrid will have to say goodbye to her faithful companion and try to save herself on her own.

Gameplay

The gameplay of the franchise is standard for classic survival. The heroes will find themselves in a territory without light and visible food. The user's task is to help them find food, shelter and weapons. The latter is extremely necessary in order to protect yourself from wild animals. Hungry wolves, aggressive rod bears, rabid foxes – this is just to be found in the local forests. Of course, it will not do without dangerous looters. Whether the heroine can cope depends only on you.

The game has changeable weather conditions, which will certainly affect the difficulty of passing. If the characters do not have time to find shelter before the onset of a frosty night, they will surely turn into frozen mummies. That is why it is worth taking the time to find shelter. With each new start, the events will change.  And this means that it is not worth remembering the old corners for salvation and storing food supplies too.
