Plot

Wil Mackenzie didn't get on the most successful flight. During the flight over Canada, the plane suddenly began to lose altitude and crashed right in the middle of the forest. The main character somehow miraculously managed to survive and now the man has to continue fighting for his life.

The main enemy of the Pitchfork is winter, cold, wild animals and hunger. If it comes out to cope with natural needs, then you can already think about exploring the virtual world, studying its history and trying to get out to civilization.

Gameplay

The creators of The Long Dark managed to develop a really interesting and unlike all other survival games project, which is very attractive with its atmosphere. Among the key features of the gameplay are:

• a completely open virtual world represented by snow-covered forests, mountains and abandoned stations;
• the need to satisfy the need for warmth – to bask near the campfire, look for warm clothes, hide indoors;
• it is also worth looking for food and other supplies, without which you cannot last;
• the presence of weapons that will help in case of an attack by wild animals;
• simple hunting mechanics, the purpose of which is to get meat for food, as well as skins for clothing;
• the presence of a hard-to-catch plot that only the most attentive gamers will be able to pass.
