Codename Gordon is a computer video game in the genre of scrolling shooter, the events of which unfold in the popular science fiction universe Half–Life, where the player takes control of the famous character - Dr. Gordon Freeman.

It is noteworthy that this project was originally developed solely as an advertisement for the second part of the original series. But the fans liked the remarkable commercial so much that it was decided to make a full-fledged game from it.

Plot

Events unfold regardless of the history of the main line. According to the plot, Gordon learns that the so-called third dimension has completely disappeared.

The main character decides to find the cause of such a phenomenon, which in the future may have a bad effect on other dimensions. Gordon begins to investigate the case, simultaneously destroying various fictional creatures and finally finds the source of the problem – members of a militant organization are behind the loss of the dimension, with which the main character will now have to fight.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the scroll shooter, it is necessary to highlight:
