The Stalker Kill Zone is a custom global modification to a computer video game in the genre of a third–person shooter with elements of the Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl survival simulator. The events unfold in a completely open for research virtual world, which is full of dangers, including deadly anomalies and mutants.

The author worked on the creation of the modification under the nickname Balhash Brothers Team.

Plot

The modification gives a new unique storyline. After the outbreak on April 14, 2006, a special elite special forces detachment was on the territory of the Chernobyl NPP to find out the causes of the outbreak. However, already on the first day of the operation, communication with the Delta detachment is interrupted, and in order to find out what happened to the soldiers, two Alpha and Beta units are sent at once.

In addition to the soldiers, the government also hired a stalker nicknamed the Shooter. As a result, the Alpha squad disappears without a trace, and Beta is ambushed.

A difficult task appears before the Shooter – he needs to help Beta, find the missing Alpha squad, and then go in search of the long-disappeared Delta, which was the first to be sent to complete the task.

Gameplay

Among the key innovations that the modification of the affected area makes, it is necessary to highlight:

• a completely new story in the original voice acting;
• a huge number of animals and mutants in all locations, except for the Bar;
• added the M134 machine gun and ammunition specifically for it;
• at many locations, the number of stalkers has been significantly reduced;
• the gameplay has been changed in favor of a purebred shooter – many features of the survival simulator
