Iron Harvest

Iron Harvest is a computer video game in the genre of real–time strategy, made in the style of dieselpunk, the events of which unfold in the 1920s after the First World War. The strategy presents something completely different – an alternative past with fictional states, but real countries and conflicts served as prototypes for them.

A small studio called King Art Games worked on the creation of the video game, for which this project became the debut.

Plot

The source of inspiration for the plot of the game was the Soviet-Polish war, which unfolded in 1919-1920. However, in the game, this conflict will look completely different and countries such as Saxony (Germany), Polania (Poland) and Rusvet (a mixture of the Soviet Union and Imperial Russia) will lead it.

According to the setting, people have made extraordinary scientific achievements, which has completely changed the military. Powerful mecha robots appeared on the battlefield, controlled by pilots. In battle, they became the most valuable combat units, replacing other types of military equipment. It is with the help of these mechs that the fictional war is being waged.

Gameplay

Iron Harvest is a pretty promising strategy with an excellent level of graphics and a really unique setting that refreshes the genre.

Among the key gameplay features of the strategy , it is necessary to highlight:

• there is completely no such element of the gameplay as the construction of a base – everything comes down to the conduct of hostilities;
• a huge variety of units – from ordinary infantry, to heroes and mechanized robots;
• advanced artificial intelligence of the enemy;
• battle mechanics thought out to the smallest detail;
