Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War Soulstorm

Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War Soulstorm is an addition to the computer video game Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War in the genre of real–time strategy, the events of which unfold in the fictional fantasy universe of Warhammer 40,000. The addition adds a couple of new races, units to the game and significantly expands the campaign.

An American studio called Iron Lore Entertainment worked on the creation of the video game.

Plot

Events unfold in the distant future on the territory of the vast expanses of Space. A few centuries ago, people went beyond the Solar system and began to create a huge intergalactic empire. Very soon, people encountered other powerful races. Because of the huge ambitions of each of the races, a war for power and for survival began – those who want to destroy everything in their path appeared in the Galaxy.

Gameplay

Among the key innovations that Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War Soulstorm brings, it is necessary to highlight:

• two new races – the Dark Eldar (the most violent race in the galaxy, which has no allies, they also never give prisoners) and the Sisters of Battle (an elite military organization in the Imperium, which includes exclusively female warriors);
• aviation has been introduced for all races (except the Necron faction, who have combat scarabs instead);
• the scale of the campaign has expanded to four planets;
• added an achievement system for the mu
