Age of mythology The titans is the official addition to the computer video game of the same name in the genre of real–time strategy, which adds a new civilization – the Atlanteans.

An American company called Ensemble Studios worked on the creation of the video game.

Plot

The events of the video game unfold in ancient times and are mainly devoted to a fictional civilization of people called Atlantis.

According to the synopsis, the Atlanteans, after the fall of their first state, hide in the Scandinavian Islands and try to survive. However, their ruler is possessed by an ancient deity who wants to lead the people of Atlantis to prosperity. After that, the Atlanteans head to the territory of modern Greece and fight with local states, as a result of which they capture a large island in the middle of the sea. Now they need to turn this piece of land into a thriving city and protect their new home from the nasty gods and the Greeks, who are still offended by the recent defeat.

Gameplay

Age of mythology The titans adds a new campaign for a unique civilization – Atlantis. Otherwise, there were no changes, including in the gameplay, except for a new unit for all factions – titan. However, the new civilization is quite interesting and therefore it is necessary to list its features:

• Atlanteans have a unique building "special barracks", in which soldiers train to fight against a certain type of enemy troops;
• civilization does not have individual heroes, for that any human warrior can become one, having received a good fee;
• The Atlantean blessing resource is mined faster than other races and the extraction process accelerates with the growth of the number of urban centers;
• peasants take much longer to build, but they are more resilient and instantly deliver supplies to the warehouse;
• instead of houses, they are estates, which are more expensive,
