Rome Total Realism

Rome Total Realism is a custom modification to a computer video game in the genre of global strategy, which combines real–time tactical battles and turn-based elements. The events of the video game unfold during the period of development, the dawn and fall of the Roman Empire.

A well-known British team called Creative Assembly worked on the creation of the original video game.

Gameplay Features

The gameplay in the modification does not differ at all from the original – it is still a strategy boiled down to details and tactical battles in which several thousand units can participate at the same time.

Among the main innovations that the mod brings to the original strategy, it is necessary to highlight:

• a new game map of the ancient world;
• 17 updated game nations;
• all units have been redesigned and have become historically reliable – now there are more than 200 types of them;
• improved artificial intelligence of the computer both on the strategic map and on the tactical one;
• the system of assimilation of captured settlements;
• improved graphics and animation of unit movement;
• a wide variety of all ki
