Mafia 2 / Mafia II Enhanced Edition (2010) PC

Mafia 2 + ALL DLC is a Czech action game with an open world, elements of a shooter and a car simulator with all additionally downloadable content. The plot of the 2nd part is not actually connected with the history of the prequel, although the actions develop in the same world.

Plot

The events take place in 43-51 years of the last century in the town of Empire Bay. In a seven-million megalopolis, everything is controlled by three mafia families.

The main character came here from Sicily. Vito's childhood was carefree, he hoped that he would realize all his projects in the new city, but the American dream remained that way. Living in a poor family, the boy got the hang of cleaning the pockets of passers-by with a friend, then the guys started robbing stores. Once Vito was caught for robbery, but instead of prison he chose to be sent to the fronts as part of a parachute regiment.

Adventures

The game is made in GTA style with elements of a shooter and a car simulator. A huge city lets a character into any of its quarters from the first seconds of the game. The plot is divided into chapters. Having started the next one, the gamer can not actually be distracted by outside business and exploring the world. For this, time is allocated between chapters (until Vito comes home, the next adventure will not begin).

Mafia 2 is distinguished by the manual study of the seasons, the weather conditions in which events occur, and the time of day. Some scenes take place in winter, the second – in the scorching sun or warm rain on a short summer night.

Routine

Most of the game time is occupied by car chases or distillations from one point to another, sometimes accompanied by ticking time or shootouts. Vito, alas, does not know how to drive a wheelbarrow and shoot at the same time. The remaining couple of tens of percent of the gameplay are shootouts with shelters with good animation and physics.

In addition to the storyline, Mafia 2 has a lot to do, but secondary missions will not bring much pleasure. Shoplifting, which has remained in the hero's blood since his youth, or part–time work as a car thief for scrap metal are not the most interesting ways to replenish your wallet.
