StarCraft2: Heart of the Swarm (2013) PC

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is the first official addition to the computer video game StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty in the genre of real–time strategy, which focuses on Sarah Kerrigan – also known as the Queen of Zerg Blades.

An unchanging American studio called Blizzard Entertainment worked on the creation of the supplement.

Plot

The plot tells the story of Sarah Kerrigan, who became the Queen of blades and the mistress of a swarm of Zerg. The Empire is attempting to destroy Sarah and thereby subjugate the Zerg. However, rebel leader Raynor takes the side of the Queen of Blades, since she, being the head of her nation, will not lead her swarm to destroy all intelligent races. At the same time, a coup begins in the swarm – a new leader has appeared, who subordinates part of the Zerg and undermines the power of Sarah.

Gameplay

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm makes quite significant changes to the gameplay, namely:

• the main character becomes Sarah Kerrigan, who is present in almost every mission – her level can be pumped, getting new abilities;
• new units were introduced for each of the three races;
• destructible objects appeared on many maps;
• in network mode, you can now create groups and clans;
• new landscapes for maps;
• The restrictions for all races have been completely removed in the online game.

Otherwise, StarCraft2: Heart of the Swarm has not changed and is a well-developed real-time strategy where the player needs to build a base, create units and use them to destroy enemy troops. The ultimate goal remains the same – it is necessary to completely erase enemy building
