God of War III Remastered (2015) on PC

God of War III Remastered is a console video game in the genre of action adventure, which tells the story of the Spartan demigod Kratos, who challenged the powerful Greek gods led by the thunderer Zeus.

In this game, the system of confrontation against incredibly huge bosses is perfectly implemented, the height of which in some cases reaches several hundred meters.

An American team called SIE Santa Monica Studio worked on the creation of the project.

Plot

Kratos is the son of the great god Zeus. The Thunderer conceived a child with a man and as a result, a demigod was born, of which there are quite a lot because of Zeus' predilection for the love of people. Hercules is also one of these demigods.

The gods betrayed Kratos and humanity, and then the main character decided that by all means he would destroy Olympus and all its inhabitants. The protagonist makes an alliance with the mother of all Titans, Gaia, who also wants to destroy Zeus. Together they attack Olympus and together kill Poseidon. However, it is not possible to resist Zeus even with their combined forces – the thunderer throws his opponents down, and Kratos will have to start his journey from the very beginning, killing one god after another until he gets to their father, Zeus.

Gameplay

God of War III Remastered is a reissue of the original God of War III, released on PS3. The remastered significantly tightened the visual component and as a result the game was ported to PS4. There were no changes other than graphic ones.

Among the key gameplay features of the project, it is necessary to highlight:

• character leveling system – implemented by killing gods and obtaining their powers, as well as weapons that Kratos can use;
• an advanced combat system that takes into account all kinds of strikes, deadly combo techniques, the use of long-range weapons and melee weapons, as well as magic;
