Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (2020) PC

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a remastered fantasy RPG video game of the same name, the events of which unfold in the fabulous universe of Alamur, where creatures such as dwarves, elves, fairies and others live.

The remastered version corrected only the visual part – the graphics in the project have increased sufficiently compared to the original, which was released in the recent 2012.

A little-known team called THQ Nordic worked on the creation of the reissue.

Plot

The plot revolves around the confrontation of the forces of good and evil. The powerful people of the elves are mostly good beings, but there are also those in whose souls only evil intentions lie. The villains decided to become much more powerful than before by invoking the ancient god. The ritual was successful – god started a war against the other races, which soon began to suffer defeat. God is mortal – he can be killed, but after his death he immediately resurrected. Other races understood that it would not be possible to stop the enemies by force of arms – they also resorted to magic and created a special artifact that also returned the dead in battle with god. Such a ritual worked only once and the survivor turns out to be the main character. Only he can stop the enemy.

Gameplay

In terms of gameplay, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning also does not differ at all from the original – only the visual component has changed. Therefore, it is necessary to highlight the gameplay features of the original:

• character leveling system;
• an interesting combat system is the perfect combination of ease of control and colorfulness (it was this feature that made the project so popular, because with minimal keystroke, the hero performed incredibly beautiful combos and spells);
