Metro Exodus: Sam's Story (2020) PC

Metro Exodus: Sam's Story is an addition to the MetroExodus computer video game, made in the genre of a first–person shooter with RPG elements, which tells about the adventures of an already familiar character – American Sam. Previously, he was a member of Artyom's squad, together with whom they found a new home for the surviving residents of the Moscow subway.

The addition was extremely warmly received by critics and gamers, as the developers presented a completely new plot and location, and also made the story more fun, but the action movie did not suffer at all in the entourage.

A talented young team from Ukraine called 4A Games worked on the creation of the supplement.

Plot

Artyom, along with other survivors, was able to find a new home far to the East. However, one of the members of his squad from the Aurora wished to go much further and try to return to his homeland. This hero becomes a charismatic American Sam, who goes towards Vladivostok, where there is a nuclear submarine – the only means of transportation that can ferry him back to North America. There the new protagonist had a family and the hero still harbors the hope that at least one of its members remained alive. However, the search for a boat becomes far from the only difficult task – Sam still needs to find fuel for such a rare type of transport.

Gameplay

Metro Exodus: Sam's Story practically does not bring changes to the original gameplay – the innovations here are insignificant, but they are still present, and among them it is necessary to highlight:

• you can now move not only on foot, but also with the help of a conventional boat, which allows you to overcome flooded areas of the city;
• new mutants have appeared;
• several new weapons that can also be improved on the workbench;
