Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror (2016) PC

Eventide 2: The Sorcerer's Mirror is a continuation of the Slavic adventure game Eventide: Slavic Fable.

As in the first issue of the series, the production is the result of a collaboration between The House of Fables and an experienced developer – Artifex Mundi.

Description

In Eventide 2, we follow Mary, the nerd from the first part. This time, the heroine must free her niece from the hands of the immortal wizard Tvardovsky, who kidnapped her during a mountain trip. The search for a relative leads Mary through the black forests, which are filled with ancient power, steep mountain trails and ruins, demons, ghosts, magical animals and other mythical creatures. To defeat the legendary magician, we must uncover the secret of the magical village, in cooperation with an unusual ally Janoshik – the famous robber of the XVIII century.

Gameplay

During the game we visit 30 different places inspired by Slavic folklore, solve logic puzzles and explore many levels in search of hidden objects. A characteristic feature of the production is the development of events in the realities of Slavic myths and legends that are close to us. A partially nonlinear plot deserves special attention, which is an unusual feature of this genre.

• the decisions that the protagonist makes during the game affect the fate of various characters, as well as the ending of the story;
• The game mechanics are typical for adventure games of the HOPA (Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure) genre;
