Mirror's Edge – Catalyst was released in 2016 and completely relaunches the series of games that started in 2008. After a long break, the developers from DICE studio finally pleased the audience with a wonderful game that will give a lot of bright moments.

Description

There is not much left of the old version, which was loved by many, in the new part, if you do not take into account the branded graphics and atmosphere. The main character of the plot is a girl named Faith Connors. Previously, she was connected with the black market, for which she had to serve one year in prison, and after being released and reunited with friends, she discovers that her city is under the yoke of a corporation. In this situation, she cannot remain indifferent and joins the fight for the liberation of the city. In this case, not only allies will help her, but also her courage, parkourist skills, the ability to use various technical special equipment and much more.

Features

The completely transformed game is full of innovations and a lot of advantages. The main ones should be highlighted:

• a completely open world in the concrete and glass jungle of a megalopolis;
• three extensive skill branches to develop: parkour, combat and equipment;
• more simplified, but diverse fights;
• the opportunity to compete in races with other players on personally prepared levels;
• many additional missions and interactive objects around the world.

Of course, there are some disadvantages, among which: often intrusive and tiring fights; low-quality drawing of minor characters and some textures; the game requires a lot of concentration and dexterity, both in combat and in parkour.
