Symmetry (2018) PC

Symmetry is a survival video game with Sci–fi elements, the narrative of which centers around a research team stuck, at first glance, in an abandoned world. It is necessary to collect enough spare parts to repair your ship before the planet shows its true face.

Gameplay

Three crew members are available — survivors of the crash. They have different skill levels in three areas: creating food, chopping wood for fuel, and collecting electrical waste for repairs. In each playthrough, your starting characters are different roles, and therefore a change in tactics is required with each new attempt.

As in most survival simulators, the "trial and error" method functions effectively in Symmetry. The mechanics are deceptively simple, but balancing the survival of your main characters is not a walk in the park, and many times you have to fail to really find out how things work. Crew members must constantly collect fuel and parts, cook, rest and improve their skills.

In the early stages, both wood and electronic waste can be found near the station, and the weather is good, little health is taken away from the characters, and everything at the station works fine. But it doesn't last long. When the resources are used up, it will take more time and more trips to resume them. When a task is assigned, rather robotic people will mindlessly continue doing it until they die. Thus, you need to keep an eye on each character, but this is not an easy task, especially when additional survivors will join later.
