Fallen Earth is a free MMO game developed by Reloaded Productions.

Plot

The story of the game begins in the 21st century, while the first series of natural disasters strikes the United States. When Americans are struggling to recover, an investment magnate named Brenhauer buys a controlling stake in the GlobalTech mega corporation. By 2051, it is moving its headquarters to the Grand Canyon Province, where GlobalTech will eventually create a self-sufficient economic and military mini-state. Meanwhile, the Shiva virus, named after seizures, is looming in India and Pakistan.

When the infection begins to spread, countries blame each other for developing the virus. Political paranoia turns into open aggression and nuclear conflict. Nuclear war combined with a virus is ravaging the planet. Less than one percent of the world's population survived the fall, and the Giorgana Dam and the Grand Canyon Province are the only known outposts of human civilization.

Outside the protective fences of Hoover Dam, the player encounters the ruins of the whole world, genetically modified creatures, strange technologies and six warring factions. Some factions seek to restore the old world, others want to build a new one in their own image, and some just want chaos and anarchy.

Gameplay

The game is based on a topographic map of the Grand Canyon. The environment without zoning is set in the sectors that are necessary to advance the plot. The game includes:

1. First- and third-person views.
2. A classless system.
3. Player-versus-player combat.
4. Mounted combat.
5. Crafting (creation of weapons, modifications, etc.)
6. A noise invisibility system.
