Plot

The action takes place on the streets of technologically advanced Poland in the future. In a world where virtual simulations, cybernetic implants and other digital enhancements are the norm. The digital plague known as the "Nanophage" has swept the nation. With technology conglomerates and their developments practically controlling the population, the Observer sets the stage for a typical cyberpunk fairy tale. Your main character is Daniel Lazarsky, a detective from the Observer unit. After receiving a call from his missing son, Lazarsky deviates from his assigned missions in search of a place to call. Following the trail to an abandoned suburb, he gets to where the dregs of society live.

Gameplay

Initially, most of your time in the Observer will be spent going through the corridors of the residential complex in search of any pointers to the whereabouts of your son. With little information about the area, searching for a building and talking to locals leads to a trail. Using two specially designed scanners to search for both biological substances and electronic components. Analyzing the items, you will learn more about the suspicious activity taking place in the complex, as well as find hints for solving small puzzles. Lazarsky can latch onto the victim's mind using memories stored on digital implants. Thanks to this, he can explore the worlds built by them under consciousness, containing visions of previous events that will help to draw a conclusion about the culprits of the murders.
