Shio is a complex platformer featuring flexible gameplay and an atmosphere with a unique artistic style. The game combines jumping mechanics inspired by old kung fu movies with amazing obstacles. As you progress, the mechanics and elements from the previous levels are combined into very complex locations, the passage of which is incredibly satisfying.

Plot

You play as a mysterious warrior with a hidden past, using your skills and powers to fight your way through the punishing maze of an ancient Chinese village built by invisible hands. The main character jumps from platform to platform, from season to season and encounters characters from the present and the ghosts of the past. Over time, the story unfolds, and you learn more about the person, helping him find a goal outside the maze.

Gameplay

From the very beginning, Shio lays solid foundations for a sharp, complex platformer. In fact, there is one main gameplay mechanism in it: the player can jump once and can only perform the traditional "double jump" if they intersect with a floating lantern. From simple beginnings, Shio significantly increases the difficulty, and although the quality of its design peaks plummeting as much as its difficulty curve, the game maintains a constant flow of percussion platform. In the course of the game, in addition to the usual saws, air jets, fireballs and other traditional obstacles, there are also thick veils of fog that hide nearby dangers.
This will make the player think about their next steps, but more often than not they stop the pace and turn Shio into a trial and error method. Features
