Nox

Nox is a classic RPG and action video game, which in many ways is the main opponent of the Diablo series. We plunge into the fictional world of Knox, which must be saved from necromancers.

A now-defunct American studio called Westwood Studios worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

Many years ago, a war for survival began in the world of Knox. Necromancers challenged everyone, raising the dead from the ground. The mighty hero stopped the enemy, but now he is no longer young, and the opponents have returned.

You stand for a person who came to this world from Earth through a portal. It just so happens that you were selected to save Knox. You must learn to wield either weapons or magic in order to stand up for the innocent.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Nox is almost similar to the famous Diablo, but has its own unique features. If we talk about the main features of the video game, then I would like to note the following:

• the ability to choose between three classes of characters, including a warrior, a magician and a sorcerer – each has its own skills and abilities;
• advanced hero leveling system;
• fights are extremely faster and require a good reaction from the gamer, which distinguishes the project from the same Diablo;
• the presence of a multi-user mode;
• advanced AI of enemies;
• large and very colorful locations.

Nox is not suitable for fans of modern video games for one simple reason – it was released back in 2000. Therefore, comparing with modern projects, the level of graphics here is at an extremely low level.
