Team Fortress 2 is a first—person multiplayer game. The creators and developers were the company Valve Corporation. What we see right away, and what begins to create an impression about the game project, is the graphics and external stylistics. And then TF 2 (sok. from Team Fortress 2) stands out from the competition, with its cartoon caricature design with smooth animations in the spirit of popular 3D cartoons of that time, and of the present time.

Team Fortress 2 Features

The game itself takes place on all kinds of maps, each of which is directly related to 1 of the game modes, which determines the task and the rules of the match. According to the time period, the match is divided into two parts: the preparation stage and the game stage. During the preparation, the opponents cannot act together or learn attack tactics together. This period is necessary for the immediate preparation for the battle: the construction of turrets, placement in position, etc.

Game modes and tasks

The stage of the game takes up the main time of the match, it can be limited by a timer, or have no limit other than the main combat task.

Actually, the question arises: what are the modes and tasks? Namely, there are eleven of them, they are listed below:

• capture files and various checkpoints;
• territory control mode;
• maintenance mode;
• arena mode;
• escort race mode;
• the "King of the Mountain" mode;
• "Special delivery";
• "Mann vs machines";
• destroy all robots mode;
• "Give me a pass."

The players themselves choose one of nine classes: scouts, soldiers, arsonists, demolition men, machine gunners, engineers, medics, snipers and spies. Each of them has a specific role: attack (the first three), defense (the second three), support (the remaining elements, respectively). After that, the network battle begins.

I would also like to say that the game is not a simple multiplayer shooting game for the sake of meat. The developers have created a full-fledged world of Team Fortress with their own characters and a plot explaining, for example, why the mercenaries, those for whom we play, actually fight with each other. All this is told not openly, but with the help of official short films, additional materials and thematic updates made by the developers.
