Rise of the Argonauts (2008) PC

Rise of the Argonauts is a computer video game in the genre of RPG and action, which takes place in Ancient Greece, and the main character becomes the famous mythological character – King Jason.

A little-known studio called Liquid Entertainment worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

Most gamers are well aware of the story of King Jason and his famous adventures on the Argo ship. The campaign will tell us a slightly modified myth about the Golden Fleece.

The young protagonist is attacked by unknown people during his own wedding. During the battle, his beautiful young wife is wounded by a poisoned arrow.

The only way to save her is to find a Fleece that has magical properties. Together with his friend Hercules, Jason embarks on a dangerous journey, during which he will meet such characters as Achilles and, of course, mythological monsters.

Gameplay

Rise of the Argonauts is a classic action game, and therefore the main role in the passage will be played by battles and a small number of dialogues. The following features are characteristic of the gameplay of a video game:

• three types of weapons, including a sword (for melee), a spear (for medium-range combat) and a mace (for punching a block and crashing shields);
• colorful finishing off opponents;
• the ability to upgrade the character's skills, which are divided into trees (each symbolizes the god of Greek mythology);
• very interesting tasks that are intertwined with mythological works created by authors from ancient Greece.

One of the most important advantages of Rise of the Argonauts is the graphics. For 2008, such a level of visualization was really something unusual, and therefor
