Colonial Conquest is a computer video game in the genre of global strategy, the actions of which unfold in a step–by-step mode. A small independent studio called Argonauts Interactive worked on the creation of this game.

Plot

Events take us to the heyday of the power of Great Britain – in the time of Queen Victoria. Every country in the 19th century wanted to capture as many colonies as possible and control world trade. Your task is to choose one of the opposing sides and lead it to victory over the opponents.

There are many ways to achieve "Victoria". You can focus on creating a powerful army that will conquer cities and entire countries. You can conduct a cunning policy that will help you get power without a single shot. With the help of trade, you can gain influence in the region only through financial means. A smart ruler will combine all methods to achieve victory and will prevail.

Gameplay

Colonial Conquest is a turn–based strategy game with huge opportunities for the development of your faction. the gameplay of this game has the following characteristic features:

• several tools to achieve victory: trade, army, politics;
• dozens of factions with their own unique soldiers, buildings and historical goals;

Graphics

The visual component of Colonial Conquest cannot be called outstanding. You can't participate in real–time battles - you just have to give orders. At the same time, it is impossible not to note the high detail of the map, which
