Everyone knows about the popularity of this futuristic strategy, and although we have not waited for an updated version for many years, but thanks to the emerging additions, in particular Zero Hour, we get a fresh look at familiar things. This remake was entirely fueled by fan comments and collected all the wishes for their implementation, due to which it was possible to get expanded functionality and thus, giving the world all the same atmospheric Generals, but with many improvements…

Features of the game

What catches the eye right away is the update of military equipment, and to be more precise, we received 30 completely new combat units, as well as about 20 technological modifications. In the updated version of the game, you can fight for three factions that have added special capabilities, so terrorists from the GLA can mask their buildings or guns from radars, the ultra-technological United States fully controls the airspace, and powerful China has the strongest infantry in the world. But by choosing one of the sides, it should be understood that the development of technology, say in the United States, can find disguised structures, but China will not succeed. 

In many ways, success in the game depends on choosing the right strategy and taking into account the capabilities of the generals, since the amount of victory cannot be kept.

Special attention should be paid to single-player companies, where beginners will be able to get acquainted with the game and learn the features (through the use of hints). The company also has a well-thought-out storyline, and not just a set of videos, in which you can track the development of relations and the emergence of conflicts between the warring parties. As you progress through the game, you will learn how to use the unique abilities of units, which, if used correctly, turn into a real machine of death and destruction.

As for graphics and sound, the work done is definitely felt. Engine optimization has improved the visual effects to the highest possible level, and the picture has become really realistic and spectacular. What are the effects of weather conditions or the imitation of the use of superweapons, for example, heat waves or lasers. The sound is also pleasing, and here we are talking about the effects and the inserted phrases of the generals, when, for example, you destroy one of the buildings.
