F.E.A.R. Extraction Point (2005) PC

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point is the first official continuation of the plot of the original shooter, where the main character went on a mission to fight the ghost girl Alma and immediately got into the epicenter of dark events. It seems that the murdered Vettel rises up and takes control of the clone army again.

Gameplay

The storyline, and hence the number of shootings, has been reduced by about half, compared to F.E.A.R. Nevertheless, everyone will be able to shoot. Almost all actions take place in closed corridor rooms, and cloned opponents respawn around every corner. Tactics are not always appropriate, sometimes you will have to suspend time, discharge the magazine and hide to recharge and fill the slo-mo strip.

Horror scenes cope with their task in part: they appear very predictably, which the gamer is preparing for in advance, and even the gloomy lighting from lonely lanterns does not affect the atmosphere much.

Armament

Of the innovations in the game, bonuses hidden in wooden boxes should be noted. The latter must be broken in search of first aid kits or cartridges. From weapons in the shooter appeared:

• laser assault rifle is a rarity used against armored vehicles and robots;
• portable automatic mini-turret – independently shoots at the enemy, detecting it;
• rapid–fire machine gun - a means to destroy a crowd of clones;
• velcro grenades.

From replicants, we will get acquainted with a machine gunner who covers his flesh with a bulletproof shield. Also included are new varieties of robots and two images of Alma:

• Poltergeist is a translucent human figure in gray tones with no obvious signs of a face, has telekinesis and is able to dismember still living bodies;
• The shadow is an almost invisible entity, very fast and fiercely fighting.

Multiplayer is not provided,
