F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate (2007) PC

F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is the second addition to the original first part. The plot runs parallel to F.E.A.R. and tells about an alternative view of "Armachem" and Auburn. The main character has nothing to do with Alma.

The second and third parts of the shooter completely ignore the events taking place in the supplement.

Novelty

The protagonist of Perseus Mandate is a clone that has nothing to do with everything that is happening around the industrial center. He is a sergeant of the second unit sent on a mission to kill the telepath Vettel. This is the only way to calm the clone army, over which this man has seized control. Having made their way inside the secret level of "Armachem" for preserved information, the clone army discovers a mountain of corpses of soldiers and a mass of Nightcrawlers mercenaries – the fourth side of the conflict. These soldiers are more cool-headed and calm in any situation.

The game engine has not undergone any changes, which is why the graphics are lagging behind the times even despite the new higher-quality textures: monotonous stone-concrete buildings and tunnels are waiting for you. In order to smooth out this drawback, the developers added:

• an electric cannon;
• grenade launcher;
• an assault rifle with an IR sight.

The variety of ghosts and robots has also increased.

AI

Artificial intelligence is the little that will please the gamer. Firstly, several characters are provided to help the hero, who will coordinate his actions, and then fall under the influence of paranormal phenomena, and secondly, shootouts. The soldiers have not become much smarter, but there are no problems with tactical techniques, accuracy, using the terrain for their own purposes and survivability.
