Call of Duty: World at War (2008) PC
CoD: World at War is the penultimate game in the series about the Second World War. The atmosphere of the first parts and the balanced gameplay made the entertainment one of the best FPS of its time.
The war with the Germans and the Japanese
A gamer is involved in a conflict in two parts of the world:
- playing for the Russians, trying to break through to the German capital;

Graphics
The visual part is at least as good as Modern Warfare:
- the game of shaders is visible to the naked eye;
- realistic waves and splashes from boats;
- staining of water due to the ingress of liters of blood into it;
- realistic plants against the background of shooting and deaths;
- blue sky, the smell of gunpowder, explosions and sparks.
As usual in Treyarch, there is nowhere without pyrotechnics in war. In the midst of a battle, it's hard to watch for more than a minute without explosions, fires, flying fragments and chaos.
Monotony
Linearity and scripts limit the gamer. Among many corridors, he is allowed to follow only pre-selected ones, the enemy's respawn at the same points and the lack of the opportunity to hide in buildings are frustrating.
Multiplayer
It is provided as a bonus for completing the campaign. You can play against bots or invite up to 3 friends. The essence of the mode: we defend ourselves from zombies by locking ourselves in a building on one of the five maps, using weapons. Windows detain the undead, and they need to be repaired in a timely manner for currency. For money and weapons with supplies are purchased, and finances are credited for killing zombies.
