Black & White is a fantasy video game developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows in 2001.

Plot

Black & White combines elements of virtual life and strategy. You have to act as the god of the island, whose goal is to defeat Nemesis, another god eager to conquer the world. The main theme is the concept of good and evil, the atmosphere depends on the moral choice of the player. The core of the gameplay is the interaction between the character and the creator, whose personality and behavior change according to how people work.

Gameplay

You have to manage the island, develop the territory, build buildings, extract resources, increase population growth and conduct fights.

Almost every action (or lack thereof) affects your assessment. You can be a good god, evil or neutral. The ground, the interface (including the hand) and the musical arrangement change according to these settings. The temple of the good god is bright, but the evil one looks intimidating and scary.

There are 2 advisers, one white (kind), the second evil (black). They will try to convince you to do something on their own. Of course, an unkind adviser will have intentions to make your life better, but not people. The good, on the contrary, will have to infringe on themselves, but it will be better for the population, for which they will love you.

The most important buildings are the "Village Center" and the "Village Store", which stores all the resources. First you need to create drawings, and then build buildings. There are eight tribes on the map in total, here are some of them:
