White Night (2015) PC

White Night is a computer video game in the genre of survival simulator and action, which is made in the neo-noir style, which makes it very similar to the famous movie "Sin City".

A small studio called OSome Studio worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

The game takes place in the thirties of the last century in the American city of Boston. The main character is an unnamed man who gets into a car accident one of the dark nights. His car is wrecked, but he managed to survive himself, although medical help will not hurt now.

In search of help, the character stumbles upon a huge house, which turns out to be abandoned. A man enters the house in search of people, but it suddenly closes. The hero cannot get out and then realizes that he has to solve the mystery of the house in order to gain freedom.

Gameplay

When creating White Night, the developers reviewed old classic films in the noir style, which is why the project acquired a similar look. The gameplay of the game is characterized by the following features:

• all logic puzzles are tied to the use of light;
• intuitive narration, in which there is a minimum of text and a maximum of actions;
• events unfold in very dark locations that the character is able to revive during the passage;
• the ability to interact with almost every object of the surrounding world.

Graphics

The most noticeable distinguishing feature of the game is, of course, the unusual visual style and design. In terms of graphics, White Night does not bring anything revolutionary to the genre, because we do not see any special special effects and original solutions.
