S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl – Adrenaline is a global modification created on the platform of the first part of the eponymous series, which aims to improve the gameplay in favor of its realism and dynamism.

A group of fans of this universe worked on the creation of the mod. The release of Adrenaline on personal computers took place in 2012.

Plot

The modification practically does not change the original story, only complements it with a pack of interesting quests, which by and large are secondary.

The main character is still a stalker who lost his memory and was rescued by a group of mercenaries. Over time, GG gets the nickname Shooter and begins to gradually remember his past. At the same time, an idea arises in his head to study the entire nature of the Zone and unravel its secrets.

Gameplay

But as for the gameplay, there are enough changes here. Among the main innovations , the following should be noted:

• now stalkers can interact with each other, and they no longer run mindlessly – NPCs began to search for artifacts;
• an outlier has been added, and therefore you have to win back from it in search of shelter;
• there is a sleeping bag that allows you to relax outside the camps – the main thing is to find a safe place;
• The AI of mutants has been improved – now they come into conflict with each other;
• anomalies have become dynamic, so be prepared that they move around locations;
• added a variety of weapons, including a flamethrower and a minigun, as well as many more.

Serious changes have also affected the graphic component. The animation of the characters' movements now looks realistic. The texture quality has risen to a fundamentally new level – now the Shadows of Chernobyl look no worse than the Call of Pripyat.
