Bastion is a computer game of the Action genre with elements of a role–playing game from the company Supergiant Games. The action takes the player to a fictional world, after a cataclysm, in which it is necessary to get to the only surviving place – the Bastion.

Gameplay

The genre of the game contains elements of both Action and RPG. And although such a symbiosis is not new for such products, but in this form it fascinates with the locations and level structures of flying islands.

Surfaces for movement appear directly during movement, and these are not the only gameplay features, including also:

• representation of locations in the form of swamps, volcanoes, icebergs;
• multiplying the strength of the main character as you progress through the levels;
• search for items needed to complete the level;
• the ability to increase health reserves;
• search for artifacts that can build a Bastion that survived the cataclysm again.

After winning the next level, the main character moves to the Bastion, where he has the opportunity to spend the money earned for the victory on upgrading weapons, as well as on artifacts that improve the indicators of abilities and skills.

The main goal of the gameplay is to build arsenals, bureaus, forges, shops and monuments in the surviving Bastion, for its further restoration. In addition to the main campaign line, there are additional levels that test weapons skills and orientation in unknown locations.

Plot

The game originates from the moment of the end of the cataclysm, and the player controls a silent guy who survived this disaster. There are only three zones on the map – the country of Ur, Ceylondiya and the Unknown.

After the cataclysm, the guy tries to get into the Bastion, meeting an elderly man, Ruks. Rooks' voice will accompany the guy throughout the game, commenting on the actions and telling about what happened.

The guy goes in search of everything necessary to rebuild the Bastion. On the way, the main character will meet loyal friends, but not all of them will reach with him to the last particle necessary for the restored Bastion.

Features

The peculiarity of the game is the presence of a narrator – voice-over. He appears not just in the plot, but at every moment of the action, being a loyal friend of the main character. It will be useful not only to clarify the details of the disaster, but also when choosing a weapon or conducting a battle. In general, the game will satisfy fans of intricate plots, as there are st
